"My Current Job"

Hello, How are you? Today I`m going to write my post number six in my english blog. (Remember: I am trying to be bilingual!) Really I don´t know what I want write, because today my creativity isn´t good.

Well, I`m going to write about my current job: I`m working realizing surveys in university, for an investigation that realices University of Chile for “Characterization of the students of the University of Chile”.
For this, It was necessary to contact different students of differents faculties inside the Universitity, and this mission hasn`t been easy, because the students don`t know what about the survey, or simply they don´t answer the phone.

The intention of the survey is can know the opinion of the students about differents topics, like topics about education, political, values of life, etc. Is very important to mention that the information that they will answer is will be totally anonymous and it will be used exclusively by the center of studies of Univesity of Chile: “CEFECH”.

Really, I am working in this because I need money, and I don´t like do surveys like this. I don`t think that this could reflect real-real information about the students, there are questions very strange! For example there are some questions that probably I couldn`t answer…

For every survey that I realice, They pay me $4000, And at the end of the week I must rig the surveys in the computer, in a special program very funny! Supposedly I will realize 20 surveys in total, so, salary will be $80.000, It is very good salary for me, because really, the job is very esay and light, and the most important thing: I don`t spend a lo of time!

My favourite Picture

Hello, How are you classmates and teacher?

Today I have to write about my favourite picture, because I don`t have anything. Really I like a lot of pictures, because there are mucho amazing pictures, of some differents styles!
But today I`m going to talk about a picture of the Sigur Ros`s documentary, called "Heima".

In the year 2006, in the endless magic hour of the Icelandic summer, Sigur Rós played a series of concerts around their homeland. The tour was filmed in their natural habitat, and this film was called "Heima".

Really I don`t know when the picture was taken but I Think that the picture was taken in the year 2006, when the documetary was filmed, but and I don`t know who was the phtography`s director of the documentary, but anyway, the director of photography could be a great photographer, the photo is really amazing!
Well, What it shows? It shows a lot of people jumping into the space from a big rock, in a city in Island.

Sigur ros is a Island band of post rock music with shoegazing and minimalist elements. So, picture represents those elements of the music that of this band. I`s a relatively experimental band...

Personally, I really like the band, I am a fan of the band! and when I saw the film I was surprised and I started to search photos in differents sitewebs, and suddenly I found it! It liked me too much! The colours of the photo are very nice, and it´s very original.

Well, I leave you the photo! and I hope you sew Heima and to listen the music of Sigur ros, because is a great-great band.

Free topic

Hello! How are you?
Today, I can talk you about something I like! is a "free topic" :)
So, I will write about carnival school "ChinchinTirapié", principally because from this year I am a member of this school, and It has been a wonderful experience for me.
Chinchintirapié is an automanaged school and without ends of profit,an it was created in the year 2006.
The idea is to form a carnival with the mythical symbol "santiaguino" : Chinchintirapié, accompanied of dancers, a band and fashion-plates.
Chinchin is the original and street drum, and from this one, many paces can be born! like cuecas and cumbias!
Well, My role inside the school is to dance and to sing and it needs great discipline and responsibility, with yourself, and with your classmates...

An important personage in my field

Hello, I´m writing my third note in this blog! Today I´m going to talk you about an important personage in my field for me: Michel Foucault ( Remember: I study Psychology ) An I really like this topic because I think He was an important french philosopher and great psychologist.

Michel Foucault was born in Poitiers on October 15th, 1926 and he died in Paris on June 25th , 1984. He went to a jesuit college, and then he studied philosophy and psychology in the Escuela Normal Superior de Paris.

Foucault was a member of the French Communist party, between 1950 and 1953. And took part in many social projects dedicated to different areas of the humanities.

He is known principally by his critical studies of the social instutions, especially the psychiatry, medicine, the human sciencies and the systems of prison.

Well, definitively, I believe that he was an amazing and great man, He contributed so much to the society...
